Jordan is a 19 year old Appaloosa Mare that is full of personality and fun! She has been owned by Mandy for the past 17 years and we couldn't imagine trying to work this ministry without her! She's nosey, outgoing and doesn't meet a stranger. And no matter what she tells you, she's not starving!
Diamond is an 20year old Quarter Horse Mare who was donated to MSYR in September 2020. She is quiet and lady like until its feed time and then she likes to show off her pretty trot and express that she would like her food first please! She adjusted wonderfully to her new friend Jordan and they have been inseparable ever since!
Flicka is a 20 year old Tennessee Walker mare that was donated to the ranch in January 2022. She has the sweetest disposition and has quickly become a session favorite! She has such patience with our participants and has helped her riders develop confidence! We are thankful for having her and know she has enhanced our programming greatly!
In Memory:
The horse that started it all was a little 13.1 hand pony full of spunk and sass named Princess. Although her exact age was unknown, she was thought to be 10 years old when Mandy acquired her in 2003. For all her antics she would pull, she always mellowed and adapted for children. She would've been so excited to work with youth but she passed unexpectedly on December 20, 2015. Forever in our hearts and still serving as an inspiration to keep working while we can!
